The name Estuary Fluid Art comes from the similarity of the landscapes appearance to the artworks effects and outcomes. Often the process looks very similar to that of estuaries, as well as the symbolic meeting of different mediums, when these separate and unique forces come together they react just like that of the joining of salt water and that of the land. The artist unique approach to the mixing of different mediums creates wonderful works of art. No two works can ever be recreated in exactly the same way!
Even though appearing new to the market Estuary Fluid Art has been creating fluid art for 10 years. Spending that time refining and developing a unique and distinctive approach to inks using experimentation and refinement. In that time the artist has found custom techniques, specialized tools, and even self-created mediums that add to the depth, organic patterns, and unexpected effects within every piece.
Alcohol inks move quickly and require both decisiveness and restraint. Knowing when to guide the medium, when to pause, and when to allow the artwork to unfold naturally is central to the process. Each piece is guided with intention while allowing the materials to reveal their own flow.
The studio works with private collectors, interior designers, and commercial clientele to create artwork that is perfectly aligned for each client. Every finished piece is designed to invite discovery, bring movement into the room, and offer something beyond the predictable.
Using intuitive skills, each piece is uniquely crafted for the collector. You can be sure to know your artwork is mindfully curated. The hope is that each piece brings a sense of wonder and presence while continuing to reveal new details over time. Experience how this artist's unique and modern approach enhances any space.
Estuary Fluid Art
About The Artist
Anna has always been an innately creative soul. Her love for the arts has blossomed into what you see today. With a curiosity for trying new techniques, the pleasure of creativity and taking part in making things of beauty. She has a natural gift for color and composition that has been refined over the years. Her experience with this modality has been enlightening, teaching her to trust in the process and be in a place of true presence while working; allowing the creative energies to come through and unfold. By learning to just be - and through trial and error - this process has taught her to let go of perfection and find acceptance. Following her curiosity and imagination has led her toward unexpected possibilities, a path she has been perfectly aligned with all this time.
Anna first discovered fluid art through acrylic pouring and was immediately drawn to its combination of experimentation and spontaneity. Learning how different mediums could create different effects enthralled her, she really found her passion in this artistic sphere. Her practice eventually evolved toward alcohol inks, she found the medium to be the perfect challenge for her, a process that requires speed, precision, patience, and an understanding of when to guide the flow and when to give it space to do its own thing. Her works may appear effortless, but every piece is the result of years of experience mixed with an ongoing dialogue between intention and the natural behavior of the medium.
Many of Anna’s pieces are created for expansive interiors, with this art modality it is not commonly found to have large scale pieces because of its complexity, knowing this you can be sure that you have a spectacular one of a kind piece! Anna has spent more than a decade developing her practice as an artist. She draws inspiration from her own imagination, nature, stories she wants to tell through composition and color, and creating something beautiful from each client's energy to make something special for them.
When creating commissioned work, Anna takes time to understand each client’s vision, the feeling they want to bring into a space, and the atmosphere they hope the artwork will create. Her artistic process combines intuition, with years of developed knowledge and sensitivity to people and environments, allowing the artwork to be completely one of a kind. Many collectors find resonance with their piece, seeing things unfold after time, finding new details, or symbolism throughout the years. You may find many of her artworks signed “Esther”, a nice coincidence and homage to the name Estuary.
Estuary Fluid Art is the proud recipient of a 2026 Creative Capacity Grant from the Arizona Commission on the Arts, an agency of the State of Arizona.
